The town is part of a simulated reality the elderly can inhabit, even after death. The episode is set in a beach resort town named San Junipero, where the introverted Yorkie meets the more outgoing Kelly. Written by showrunner Charlie Brooker and directed by Owen Harris, it premiered on Netflix on 21 October 2016, with the rest of series three. It's not a complete disaster in the same way The Waldo Moment is (man, fuck that episode) but it's nothing special or unique. 'San Junipero' is the fourth episode in the third series of the British science fiction anthology television series Black Mirror. 15 16 In October 2017, Jones revealed that 'Metalhead' was filmed in black and white.

SAN JUPERINO BLACK MIRROR WIKI MOVIE
I only kept watching in hopes that it would do what Black Mirror does best but nope, what I expected to happen, happened. When it comes to binging-watching a mind-bending anthology like Black Mirror, its hard to compare it to any other show or movie out right now. You see where the episode is going, it goes there and you wonder why this episode had to be as long as it did. 'San Junipero' 3 4 Owen Harris (director) Heaven Is a Place on Earth Girlfriend in a Coma (song). It's basically just 'What if Uber ratings were everywhere?' and that's it. It's just very by the numbers and actually pretty un-Black Mirror. For a show that's usually pretty out there and subverts your expectations, Nosedive is a fairly straight forward episode that's completely unsurprising. I haven't watched the whole series but I disliked Nosedive.
